Born in July 1983, Alaa Najd didn't start his career in fashion until he was 27, he then applied to study fashion design at ESMOD - a Paris - based fashion school. After graduation, Najd nailed the jury prize that earned him an internship at Georges Chakra fashion house. Not long after, he applied for Project Runway Middle East and was the inaugural winner of the first season. The guidance he received during the program made him balance his creative style with an awareness of the commercial market forging a refined and polished identity. Najd's signature style is minimal, classical and modern with an edge of complexity. His taste is influenced by architecture and Origami twists, which are the cornerstone of his innovative vision of the modern woman.
Born on December 1st, 1956, Fashion designer Abed Mahfouz was raised in the arms of a modest family in Beirut. Mahfouz decided to enter the enticing world of fashion in 1982. After joining his older sister in designing and making evening gowns, Mahfouz recognized his true fervor for fashion, in which, led to the birth of the Abed Mahfouz brand. Mahfouz commenced his career with solely designing intricate and refined bridal gowns for the in vogue and graceful woman. In 2001, after the success of Al-Halimah - meaning The Dreamer - his very first private wedding collection; Mahfouz moved on and joined the world of Couture. In 2000, Abed Mahfouz showcased his first Couture collection during Fashion Week in Rome, Alta Roma. Mahfouz was one of the first Lebanese designers to join Alta Roma and continues to showcase his Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter Couture collections there.

He managed 15 workers and already knew all the tricks of the sewing trade.
In the following months, he presented his first collection to a female audience which was impressed by the talent of this self-taught artist.

In 2000, he was invited by the Trade Association of High Fashion in Paris to showcase his line.
